We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Pharmacy Technician Location: Ughelli, Delta Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and ensuring efficient pharmaceutical services while maintaining compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, policies, and procedures. Provide basic medication information to patients under the supervision of a pharmacist. Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescribed medications accurately. Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management and stock reconciliation. Maintain proper storage and handling of medications and pharmaceutical supplies. Assist in labeling, packaging, and distribution of medications. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy. Receive, process, and prepare prescriptions for dispensing. Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. Report expired, damaged, or near-expiry medications to the supervising pharmacist. Ensure proper documentation of pharmaceutical transactions and records. Assist with procurement and receiving of pharmaceutical products. Educational Qualifications Registration with the appropriate regulatory body (where applicable). Diploma or Certificate in Pharmacy Technician from a recognized institution. Experience: 1 - 2 years of relevant experience: in a hospital, retail, or community pharmacy setting. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience: may also apply. Other Requirements: Strong commitment to patient care and safety. Valid practicing license (where applicable). Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required. Good ethical conduct and adherence to professional standards. Residency within or willingness to relocate to the job location will be an added advantage. Required Skills and Competencies: Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good knowledge of pharmaceutical products and dispensing procedures. Ability to multitask and work under pressure. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
