The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and managing the factory's costing and general ledger functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, inventory valuation, budget control, and compliance with statutory and company policies. We are recruiting an experienced Senior Cost & General Ledger Accountant for a large-scale FMCG manufacturing project. Key Responsibilities: Perform month-end and year-end closing activities. Manage product costing, standard costing, BOM costing, and manufacturing cost analysis. Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and internal financial controls. Partner with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams to improve financial performance. Monitor inventory valuation, stock movements, and production variances. Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements. Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives. Support internal and external audit activities. Maintain and reconcile the General Ledger and balance sheet accounts. Requirements: Minimum of 7 years' experience: in finance within a manufacturing environment. ACA, ACCA, or ICAN qualification is required. Proven hands-on experience: in manufacturing cost accounting and General Ledger accounting. Excellent analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills. Experience: using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, or similar. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, production costing, variance analysis, and factory overhead allocation.
