The ideal candidate will ensure safe movement, loading, unloading, and proper storage of goods and materials while following all workplace safety procedures. We are seeking a skilled and responsible Forklift Operator to safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment within our client’s facility. Key Responsibilities: Stack and store products safely and efficiently. Perform routine checks and basic maintenance of the forklift as required. Maintain accurate records of materials moved, received, or dispatched where required. Ensure materials are properly secured before transportation. Load and unload trucks while ensuring goods are handled carefully. Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, move, and arrange materials and goods. Transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse or facility. Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards. Report damaged goods, equipment issues, or safety hazards to the appropriate supervisor. Follow all workplace health and safety regulations and operating procedures. Carry out other duties assigned by the supervisor or management. Assist warehouse and logistics teams with general material-handling activities. Inspect the forklift before and after each shift and report any faults or maintenance needs. Requirements: Minimum of SSCE/WAEC/NECO or equivalent. Ability to safely handle and transport heavy materials. Valid forklift operating license/certification is an added advantage. Good communication and teamwork skills. Good knowledge of forklift operations and workplace safety procedures. Proven experience: as a Forklift Operator. Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision. Physically fit and able to work in a warehouse or industrial environment. Previous experience: in a warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or industrial environment is an advantage. High level of responsibility, alertness, and attention to safety.
