We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Shift Manager Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Objective(s) Recommend or execute personnel actions, such as hirings, evaluations, or promotions. Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the production and loading of goods such as Loaders, Pallet setters and conveyor workers. Ensure the production and logistics process remains smooth and efficient by monitoring operation workers and organizing work flow. Maintain operations data, such as time records, production, expense and prepare production reports for the management. Duties & Responsibilities: Set standards and specified targets for new operatives Keep records of employees' attendance and hours worked. Orientation and training of new operatives. Other official tasks assigned Direct and coordinate the activities of operatives. Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals i.e meeting up daily targets in both conveyor and loading sections. Enforce safety policies and procedures to decrease potential injuries for employee on the job. [Adherence to the usage of P.P.E(s)] Taking daily records of total numbers of trucks/trailer loaded. Note: In the event of supervisory negligence / poor monitoring that affects the company (TDL), you shall bear the cost. Enforcement of Client/TDL rules and regulations Proper documentation of operational activities i.e. (ensuring reconciliation of activities between Client and TDL). Hourly report recording of work done. Maintain the security of all information entrusted to you and all members of staff Recruitment of factory operatives. Key Performance Indicators Cost Reduction Provision of adequate manning & Training Turn-around time, Issue Resolution & Quality Rate Adherence to policies, procedures & processes Audit Defect Rate Compliance Customer Satisfaction & Retention Ensure 0% incidence of protest/negative report Daily recording and documentation of operational activities Strategic initiatives Revenue Growth Job Requirements: Education: Minimum Education: First Degree / National Diploma is mandatory.
