Emel Hospital was established in 1988 by Dr. Olufemi Mobolaji-Lawal, a consultant paediatrician. Dr. Mobolaji-Lawal trained as a doctor at the University College Hospital, Ibadan and as a paediatrician in the United Kingdom. Prior to setting up Emel Hospital, he worked for some time as a consultant paediatrician at Ikeja General Hospital (now Lagos State University Teaching Hospital), Lagos. He is the board chairman and his wife, Dr. (Mrs) Margaret Mobolaji-Lawal, is a non-executive director. We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Account Officer Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Responsibilities: Attend to all audit related queries and enquiries. Ensure remittance of statutory deductions within designated timelines Manage day to day accounting operations. Co-ordinate the implementation of approved policies and process improvement initiatives Support treasury, liquidity and investment strategy. Support budget preparation & tracking process Any other assigned task. Assist investor relation team with key financial deliverables and ad-hoc requests. Prepare management account and the submission of relevant supporting schedules. Requirements: Professional accounting qualification or relevant certification is an added advantage. 2–3 years' relevant accounting experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment. B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
