We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Compensation & Benefits: Officer Location: Mushin, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Responsibilties Payroll Administration & Processing: Verify payroll inputs from HR/Managers (attendance, leave, changes in employment status, overtime/allowances, benefits: enrollments). Support payroll processing activities end-to-end to ensure employee pay components allowances, overtime where applicable, deductions, and any relevant statutory items) are correctly captured and processed. Ensure payroll calculations are correct and payroll runs are delivered on time according to the payroll calendar. Payroll Compliance & Documentation: Support audits by preparing payroll-related documentation and responding to payroll queries as assigned. Maintain organized payroll documentation and employee records for internal controls, reporting, and audit purposes. Ensure payroll activities follow company policies and applicable labor/payroll requirements. Compensation & Total Rewards Support: Support compensation-related reviews by preparing payroll/compensation inputs and basic reporting. Assist with updates to compensation data (salary changes, adjustments, new hires, promotion/demotion changes, and termination-related changes). Ensure all payroll-affecting changes are properly authorized, documented, and accurately implemented. Benefits: Administration: Reconciliation, Variances & Issue Resolution Follow up on corrections with HR and Finance to ensure accurate final payroll outputs. Assist with payroll reconciliation and investigate payroll variances (e.g., incorrect deductions, missing allowances, leave/attendance-related issues). Coordinate benefits: administration activities with HR and any relevant service providers (where applicable). Maintain benefits: records, including enrolment, changes in coverage, and employee status updates. Handle basic employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits: documentation, escalating complex cases to the relevant lead. Reporting & Reporting Support: Prepare periodic payroll and deductions reports as required. Support management and HR/Finance with regular payroll updates and employee-related payroll summaries. Process Improvement & Controls: Contribute to improving payroll workflows, checking processes, and data accuracy controls.
