This role involves managing vehicle maintenance, driver performance, fuel consumption, regulatory compliance, fleet budgeting, and asset utilization while minimizing downtime and operating costs. Key Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day operations of the company's vehicle fleet. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to maximize vehicle availability. Monitor vehicle performance, inspections, and repair activities. Ensure compliance with transportation laws, safety regulations, and company policies. Manage vehicle registration, licensing, insurance, and documentation. Track fuel consumption and implement strategies to improve fuel efficiency. Monitor GPS tracking systems and optimize vehicle routes and utilization. Supervise and evaluate drivers, ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards. Investigate vehicle accidents and coordinate insurance claims when necessary. Prepare and manage fleet budgets, including maintenance, repairs, fuel, and vehicle replacement. Analyze fleet performance data and prepare regular management reports. Coordinate procurement, disposal, and replacement of fleet vehicles.
