Our client is seeking an exceptional business leader to build and scale their e-commerce store into one of Nigeria's most trusted online marketplaces. This is a founding team opportunity for a commercially minded professional who can recruit quality vendors, build strategic partnerships, establish operational systems and drive marketplace growth while working directly with the CEO. Key Responsibilities: Develop customer trust systems including vendor verification, reviews, returns and complaint resolution. Recruit, onboard and retain reputable marketplace vendors. Build partnerships with logistics providers, payment platforms and suppliers. Improve marketplace operations, fulfilment and customer experience. Grow product categories and improve catalogue quality. Monitor KPIs and provide weekly and monthly executive reports. Work with developers to enhance website performance, search and conversion. Ideal Candidate Strong vendor acquisition, negotiation and relationship management skills. Experience: with marketplace operations, fulfilment and customer experience. Interested candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor’s / Master`s Degree Existing network of vendors, merchants, distributors or marketplace partners within Nigeria. Entrepreneurial mindset with high integrity, ownership and resilience. Proven success launching or scaling an e-commerce marketplace or online retail platform. Not less than 5 years core experience: Good understanding of digital marketing, AI marketing tools, content strategy and online community management. Ability to interpret business data and make commercially sound decisions. Experience: working with technology, marketing and operations teams. Preferred Work Background: E-commerce, digital commerce, FMCG distribution, consumer electronics, retail or technology-enabled businesses.
