The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications and integrations for leading clients across telecommunications, banking, oil & gas, and the public sector. This role is ideal for engineers who can take ownership of workstreams, deliver high-quality solutions with minimal supervision, and provide technical guidance to junior developers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical applications. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications and services using Java (Spring Boot)and/or C# (.NET Core/ASP.NET Core). Build, consume, secure, and document RESTful APIs and system-to-system integrations. Develop clean, scalable, maintainable, and well-tested code while actively participating in peer code reviews and adhering to software engineering best practices. Translate business, functional, and technical requirements: into high-quality software solutions, providing realistic effort estimates and timely delivery. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application issues across development, testing, staging, and production environments. Take end-to-end ownership of assigned application modules from solution design through deployment, support, and continuous improvement. Mentor junior developers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. Collaborate with Solution Architects, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Project Managers, and client stakeholders throughout the software delivery lifecycle. Contribute to application architecture, technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational runbooks to ensure knowledge continuity and maintainability. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including code quality, automation, DevOps practices, and software development standards. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience). Minimum of 4 years’ professional experience: in software development using Java and/or C# technologies. Strong hands-on experience: developing enterprise applications with Spring Boot or .NET Core / ASP.NET Core( experience: in both is an added advantage ). Proven experience: designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs, including authentication mechanisms such as OAuth2 and JWT.
