The Dispensing Officer is responsible for accurate dispensing of raw materials and packaging materials for production in compliance with approved procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and safety standards. The role ensures that all materials issued are correct in quantity, quality, and properly documented to support efficient production processes. Key Responsibilities: Maintain cleanliness and proper environmental conditions within the dispensing area. Dispense raw and packaging materials as per approved Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and requisitions. Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and regulatory requirements: at all times. Ensure adherence to FIFO/FEFO principles during material issuance. Participate in stock counts, audits, and inventory reconciliation activities. Verify material identity, batch number, status label, and expiry date before dispensing. Ensure accurate weighing and measuring of materials using calibrated equipment. Record all dispensing activities accurately in logbooks and ERP systems (e.g., Darwinbox/SAP). Coordinate with Quality Assurance (QA) for line clearance and approval before dispensing. Report any discrepancies, deviations, or damaged materials immediately to the supervisor. Label dispensed materials correctly and ensure proper transfer to production. Qualifications & Experience: 5–10 years of experience: in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment (preferably in warehouse/dispensing).
