We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Quality Control Assistant - Raw Material Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary Responsible for the evaluation and release of bulk raw materials and packaging materials to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications. Conducts retain sample re-evaluation, investigates material defects and deviations, and supports the management and disposition of non-conforming materials. Maintains accurate laboratory documentation and records and supports the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment. Works with relevant departments to ensure quality control requirements: and procedures are effectively implemented. Job Functions Supports the release or rejection of raw materials and packaging materials based on quality control results and established procedures. Assists with other quality control activities as required. Conducts periodic re-evaluation of retain samples and documents the findings appropriately. Reports equipment malfunction, abnormalities or calibration concerns to the Quality Assurance Manager. Conducts root cause analysis on identified quality issues and supports the implementation of appropriate corrective and preventive actions. Investigates material defects, non-conformities and deviations and documents findings appropriately. Ensures retain samples are properly identified, stored and maintained in accordance with established procedures. Ensures laboratory records are properly maintained and readily available for review when required. Supports the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment and ensures relevant records are maintained. Reviews test results and relevant documentation to determine conformity with established quality standards. Evaluates bulk raw materials and packaging materials in line with approved specifications and quality control procedures. Conducts the required laboratory checks and tests on raw materials and packaging materials before release. Works with relevant departments to address material quality issues and ensure compliance with established quality requirements. Maintains accurate and up-to-date laboratory documentation, records and test results. Prepares relevant quality control, investigation and deviation reports. Supports the management and disposition of non-conforming raw materials in accordance with approved procedures. Performs other duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.
