The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising print operations. Min Qualification: HND Experience Level: Entry level Experience Length: 2 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Lagos, Nigeria Job descriptions & requirements Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily print production activities to meet production schedules and customer deadlines. Develop production plans and allocate resources effectively to maximize efficiency. Monitor workflow and ensure jobs are completed accurately, on time, and within budget. Coordinate multiple print projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards. Ensure all printed materials meet customer specifications and company quality standards. Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process. Approve proofs and final print outputs before delivery. Investigate production errors and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Oversee the operation and maintenance of printing, finishing, and bindery equipment. Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime. Ensure equipment is operated safely and efficiently. Recommend equipment upgrades and process improvements when necessary. Monitor inventory levels of paper, ink, plates, chemicals, and other production materials. Coordinate procurement of production materials and consumables. Minimize waste and optimize material utilization. Maintain accurate inventory records and production supplies. Supervise, train, and mentor production staff, machine operators, and finishing personnel. Assign daily tasks and monitor employee productivity. Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs. Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations. Enforce the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment. Ensure adherence to company policies and standard operating procedures. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports. Monitor production costs, machine utilization, waste levels, and efficiency metrics. Liaise with clients, designers, sales teams, and suppliers regarding project requirements. Recommend process improvements to enhance productivity and profitability. Requirements: Minimum of an HND in Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or a related field. Proven years of experience in commercial printing or print production. Strong knowledge of offset, digital, large-format, and finishing processes. Experience operating or managing print production equipment. Understanding of colour management, print quality standards, and prepress processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
