We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Fund & Investment Manager to strengthen our investment management function and drive the effective management and growth of the Company's investment portfolios. The Fund & Investment Manager will be responsible for developing and executing investment strategies, managing assigned funds and portfolios, monitoring investment performance, managing portfolio risks, and ensuring that investment decisions are aligned with approved mandates, objectives and applicable regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will bring strong investment judgement, analytical capability, market knowledge and a demonstrable track record of managing investment portfolios. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute investment strategies aligned with fund objectives and risk appetite. Manage and optimise investment portfolios to achieve targeted risk-adjusted returns. Conduct detailed research, financial analysis and valuation of investment opportunities. Identify, evaluate and recommend attractive investment opportunities across relevant asset classes. Prepare investment proposals, financial models and investment papers for Management and the Investment Committee. Monitor portfolio performance, asset allocation, NAV, liquidity, benchmarks and investment risks. Ensure effective portfolio diversification and adherence to approved investment mandates. Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers, custodians, financial institutions, fund managers, issuers and other market participants. Ensure compliance with applicable SEC Nigeria regulations, internal investment policies and other relevant regulatory requirements. Contribute to the development of new investment products, strategies and business opportunities. Provide leadership, guidance and mentorship to investment analysts and other members of the investment team. Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess: A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or another relevant discipline. A Master's Degree / MBA in Finance, Investment Management, Economics, or a related field will be an advantage. CFA Charterholder is highly desirable. Membership/professional qualification with the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS) or another recognised investment/portfolio management professional body is an advantage. Relevant regulatory registration/licensing required for the role by SEC Nigeria and other applicable regulatory authorities. 7–10 years of progressive professional experience: within asset management, fund management, investment management, portfolio management, capital markets or a closely related financial services environment. Demonstrable experience: in managing investment portfolios or funds. Strong understanding of Nigerian and international financial markets, investment products and portfolio management principles. Strong knowledge of portfolio construction, asset allocation, diversification and investment risk management. Demonstrable track record of sound investment judgement and effective portfolio management. Experience: preparing investment papers, portfolio reports and presentations for senior management or investment committees. Strong understanding of relevant SEC regulations, corporate governance, AML/CFT requirements: and investment management practices.
