We are seeking a passionate, reliable, and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to support daily kitchen operations and ensure the preparation of high-quality meals that meet our standards for taste, presentation, and food safety. Key Responsibilities: Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations after use. Properly store food items and ensure minimal wastage. Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen and food preparation areas. Prepare ingredients, including washing, cutting, marinating, and portioning food items. Contribute ideas for menu improvements and new dishes where applicable. Support the Head Chef and kitchen team with daily operations and special events. Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries. Adhere strictly to food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. Monitor stock levels and notify management of inventory shortages. Requirements: Culinary certification is an added advantage. 1–2 years' experience: as a Kitchen Assistant, Cook, or Chef in a restaurant, café, or hospitality establishment. Minimum of National Diploma (ND) in Hospitality Management, Catering, Food Science, or a related field. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards. Good understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of food hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards.
