The role ensures cost-effective procurement while maintaining compliance with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Documentation: Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and procurement reports for management review. Sustainability Focus: Support environmentally responsible sourcing practices, especially for waste management and pollution control projects. Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to local and international procurement regulations, including Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) guidelines. Risk Management: Assess supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to ensure value for money. Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers and contractors. Cross – Functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations, finance, and logistics teams to align procurement with project goals. Procurement Planning: Develop procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and operational needs. Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment of petroleum products, marine equipment, and waste management supplies. Performance Indicators Contribution to sustainability and pollution control initiatives Reduction in procurement-related risks Cost savings achieved through strategic sourcing Timely delivery of goods and services Supplier reliability and compliance rate Key Requirements: Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
