Key Responsibilities: Work closely with underwriting and claims teams on new and existing lines of business. Ensure underwriting activities under these arrangements comply with company procedures and policy wordings. Extract and analyse data using appropriate statistical modelling techniques. Support portfolio management and the development of rating plans. Provide actuarial support to assigned business lines. Analyse and evaluate insurance products and services to meet client and business needs. Develop estimates to support product development and pricing. Determine appropriate premium rates, cash reserves, and liabilities. Evaluate actuarial performance against established objectives and plans. Monitor delegated authority agreements, binding authorities, and scheme arrangements. Assist with the daily reconciliation of company bank accounts. Analyse loss experience: and identify relevant trends. Conduct statistical analysis and predictive modelling to support pricing and rating decisions. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance, Actuarial Science, Finance, or a related field. 2–3 years relevant experience. Basic knowledge of actuarial statistical software. Knowledge of actuarial concepts and techniques. Strong data analysis and interpretation skills. Excellent attention to detail and relationship management skills.
