We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Account Officer Location: Lagos Island, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Responsibilities: Track expenditures for facility operations and maintenance contracts to ensure alignment with budget. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Monitor and reconcile client accounts, vendor accounts, and bank statements regularly. Support internal and external audits by providing required financial documents. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions including income, expenses, and bank dealings. Ensure all financial records are compliant with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant financial regulations. Support other finance functions as needed Ensure timely payment of utilities, vendor invoices, and statutory obligations. Maintain documentation for financial processes and ensure compliance with company policies. Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements. Requirements: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Excel). Good communication and interpersonal skills. Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices. Minimum of 2years experience: in a similar role Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and integrity.
