We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Production Manager Location: Nigeria Job Description Ensuring compliance to manufacturing processes and procedures of the company with the objective of achieving key performance indicators in collaboration with all stakeholders by constantly developing, planning, and implementing operational excellence and training of plant personnel. Key Deliverables Production Planning & Execution Planning to deliver the sales demand ensuring effective utilization of assets at optimum cost of operations. Control over warehouses for raw & packing materials and finished goods. Analyze breakdowns and put corrective measures to improve OEE. Ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory and statutory requirements. Ensure compliance to Safety and Food Safety requirements: from manufacturing function. Liaison with central and local procurement for effective planning of raw and packing materials ensuring availability as well as monitoring inventory norms. Lead the AM Pillar team in WCM / Operational Excellence and support other pillars on production related requirements. Review and monitor operating budgets. Managing Talent: Develop and train the team to improve the effectiveness of implementation of best / next practices in the area of work. Identify training needs of team members in order to enhance skills and develop / maintain a motivated team. Driving cost culture and value delivery: Review cost of production consumables and ensure adherence to budgets. Review requirements: of production consumables and ensure availability. Project: Selection of Capacity, Capability, Appropriate Technology, Energy requirements: etc for Opex and Capex Projects along with Engineering team as and when required. Assist in commissioning and start-up of new projects. Execute implementation of projects within timelines and cost with support of Engineering Team. Requirements: Good negotiation skills. Good communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage complexity. Strong people management skills. Exposure to Lean or Six Sigma would be an added advantage. A hands-on experience: of implementing TPM or WCM / Operational Excellence is a must. Experience: of managing high speed PET bottling lines and Tetrapak lines. 10+ years of experience: in FMCG companies of repute preferably bottling / aseptic dairy products with a minimum of 3 years of experience: as Head of Manufacturing / Production department. Strong analytical & problem-solving skills. Experience: of managing production function of a bottling plant, preferably aseptic dairy technology with Tetrapak and Sidel bottling lines. BE / B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/Production Engineering from a reputed institute.
