We are seeking an experienced, commercially minded Accounts & Finance Manager to lead our finance, reporting, budgeting, treasury, taxation, and financial control functions within a project-driven oil & gas services environment. This is a hands-on role requiring strong expertise in project costing, contract billing, cash-flow management, procurement controls, and commercial risk management to provide executive leadership with actionable insights. Key Responsibilities: Financial Strategy & Reporting:Lead the finance function, align strategy with business objectives, and produce accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Variance Analysis). Cash Flow & Treasury Management:Maintain rolling cash-flow forecasts, manage daily liquidity, monitor working capital, and maintain banking relationships. Receivables & Payables:Oversee credit control, DSO reduction, vendor payment scheduling, purchase-to-pay controls, and statement reconciliations. Governance, Audit & Risk:Implement robust internal controls, maintain audit readiness, coordinate external audits, and mitigate financial/FX risks. Commercial & Tender Support:Provide financial input, cost modeling, and margin analysis for bids, proposals, and pricing structures. Project Accounting & Billing:Oversee project budgets, cost tracking, margin analysis, contract billing milestones, and unbilled revenue across oil & gas service contracts. Budgeting & Cost Control:Lead the annual budgeting process, track budget utilization, challenge unsupported expenses, and implement cost-reduction mechanisms. Taxation & Statutory Compliance:Ensure computation, remittance, and filing for CIT, VAT, WHT, PAYE, and other statutory liabilities in line with Nigerian tax laws. Requirements: Industry Focus: Prior experience: in Oil & Gas Services, Energy, EPC/EPCI, Marine, or Project-Based Engineering environments is strongly preferred. Technical Skills: Advanced MS Excel (financial modeling), ERP software proficiency, project cost control, and strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws. Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive finance/accounting experience. Certification: ICAN, ACCA, ANAN, or equivalent professional qualification strongly preferred. Education: B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
