The role requires a commercially driven individual with strong communication, negotiation, networking, and relationship management skills. Job Details Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential clients. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers. Conduct market research to identify emerging market trends, customer needs, and business opportunities. Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, digital channels, and other business development activities. Prepare and deliver business proposals, presentations, and sales pitches to prospective clients. Manage the business development pipeline and follow up on leads to convert prospects into customers. Negotiate commercial terms and support the successful closure of business deals. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective delivery of products and services to clients. Monitor competitor activities and provide insights to support business strategy. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, and sales activities. Prepare regular business development and performance reports for management. Achieve agreed business development, sales, and revenue targets. Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking activities to promote the company's products and services. Requirements Bachelor's degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Economics, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or a related commercial role. Proven experience in lead generation, client acquisition, and relationship management. Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and meet set targets. Good knowledge of the relevant industry and market. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools is an advantage.
