We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with 3–5 years of accounting experience: in a manufacturing company. This role is best suited for candidates who understand manufacturing operations, inventory costing, stock reconciliation, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, journals, and ledgers. Conduct periodic stock counts and investigate stock variances. Track raw materials, finished goods, and production inventory. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Process payroll and statutory deductions where applicable. Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable. Support internal and external audits. Collaborate with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to improve inventory accuracy and financial controls. Assist in inventory valuation and cost accounting. Maintain and reconcile inventory records with physical stock. Prepare tax schedules and ensure timely statutory remittances. Manage daily accounting transactions and bank reconciliations. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Minimum of 3–5 years' accounting experience: in a manufacturing company (Mandatory). Excellent communication and organizational skills. High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail. Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Strong knowledge of inventory/stock management and stock reconciliation.
