Storekeeper Job Type Full Time Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience: 1 - 3 years Location Lagos Job Field Procurement / Store-keeping / Supply Chain Job Summary We are seeking a responsible, organised, and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage the day-to-day operations of the company’s store. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining accurate records of company supplies, equipment, and inventory. The Storekeeper will ensure that stock levels are properly monitored, items are safely stored, and all inventory transactions are accurately documented. Key Responsibilities: Receive and inspect goods, supplies, equipment, and other items delivered to the company. Verify quantities and specifications against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes. Properly arrange and store items to ensure easy identification and accessibility. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all stock received and issued. Issue items to authorised employees and departments based on approved requests. Monitor stock levels and notify Management when items require replenishment. Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with records. Investigate and report discrepancies, damages, shortages, or expired items. Ensure the store is clean, secure, and properly organised at all times. Maintain proper documentation for all stock movements. Prepare regular inventory reports for Management. Ensure proper storage and handling of company assets and supplies. Monitor the condition of stored items and ensure proper stock rotation where applicable. Support procurement activities by providing accurate information on stock levels and requirements. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures relating to inventory management. Perform other duties as assigned by the Management. Requirements: 1–3 years of experience: in storekeeping, inventory management, warehouse operations, or a similar role. Good knowledge of inventory management procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other inventory management tools. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organisational and record-keeping skills. Ability to maintain accurate inventory records. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of integrity, accountability, and responsibility.
