We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Operations / Control Officer Location: Oniru, Lagos Island - Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary The successful candidate will monitor operational activities, ensure compliance with company procedures, identify discrepancies or operational issues, maintain accurate records, and work with relevant departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations. We are seeking a detail-oriented, responsible, and proactive Operations/Control Officer to support the effective coordination, monitoring, and control of daily business operations. Key Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned by management. Conduct routine checks on operations, inventory, documentation, and business processes. Monitor daily operational activities to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Assist management in monitoring compliance and improving overall operational efficiency. Monitor stock movement, product handling, and documentation where required. Prepare and submit regular operational and control reports to management. Ensure proper documentation and accurate record-keeping of operational activities. Identify recurring operational challenges and recommend practical solutions. Monitor adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and established operational standards. Conduct regular checks and reconciliations to identify errors or discrepancies. Identify and report operational discrepancies, irregularities, and control issues. Work closely with Operations, Warehouse, Sales, and other relevant departments to improve efficiency and maintain proper controls. Follow up on identified issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Support the implementation of operational policies, procedures, and internal controls. Requirements: Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies. Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and accountability. Excellent documentation and report-writing skills. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and effectively with different departments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Good understanding of business operations and internal controls. Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Management, Supply Chain, or a related field. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
