Develops safety procedures, training programs, and maintains all safety records, permits, and certifications Min Qualification: Degree Experience: Level: Mid level Experience: Length: 3 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Abeokuta & Ogun State, Nigeria Job descriptions & requirements: Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with HSE policies and local regulations Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments Develop and implement safety procedures and training programs Investigate incidents/accidents and prepare reports Good knowledge of housekeeping and Effluent management Maintain safety records, permit, and audit documentation Promote a safe working environment and employee awareness Timely Renewal of certificates & permits (whereas required) Coordinate safety training across the factory Coordinate the renewals of safety-related SLAs for the factory before their expiration date. Follow up on the pending unsafe conditions for the Head Office. Ensure quarterly fumigation is conducted for the Head Office at the appropriate date. Create and send out the weekly HSE nuggets for the factory. Coordinate any HSE project event for the factory. Requirements: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field Relevant professional certifications or recognized HSE certification will be an added advantage. A minimum of 3–7 years of relevant experience: in a similar multi-functional role Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Good knowledge of labor laws and HSE regulations Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Key Competencies: Strong time management and prioritization skills Problem-solving ability High level of confidentiality and integrity Leadership and teamwork High level of integrity and professionalism.
