We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Agricultural Extension & Field Research Officer Location: Ogun Job Type: Full-time Role Description The officer will conduct field trials and research to improve yield, soil health, pest and disease management, and overall farm productivity, documenting findings and translating them into practical recommendations. The Agricultural Extension and Field Research Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ago-Iwoye. This role involves providing technical advisory support to farm owners and field workers on best practices in pineapple cultivation, including land preparation, planting, crop management, and harvesting. The role also includes collaborating with management on extension programs, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and supporting the implementation of innovative agronomic techniques. Day-to-day responsibilities: include monitoring farm activities, collecting and analyzing field data, training farm owners and workers through workshops and demonstrations, and preparing regular reports on crop performance and project outcomes.
