We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Credit Officer Locations: Anioma/Midwifery Market, Okpanam Road, Summit Area, Ogbogonogo, Ibusa Junction, Anwai Road and Okpanam - Asaba, Delta Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary Credit officer responsibilities: include preparing loan applications, evaluating clients’ financial information, and calculating risk ratios. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of lending procedures and customer service experience. We arelooking for a Credit Officer to facilitate lending for our clients by assessing creditworthiness and processing relevant paperwork in Asaba, Delta State. Ultimately, you will help our clients acquire loans on time while ensuring all requirements: are met. Responsibilities: Follow up with clients about loan renewals Analyse risks and approve or reject loan requests Assess clients’ financial status Review loan requests Set up payment plans Contact clients to gather financial data and documentation Monitor progress of existing loans Maintain updated records of loan applications Evaluate creditworthiness and risks Daily & weekly repayment collection Requirements: and Skills Strong analytical skills Hands-on experience: with lending procedures and products NCE / OND / HND / B.Sc. Degree in Banking and Finance, Economics, or related field Customer service experience. Ability to create and process financial spreadsheets Proven work experience: as a Credit Officer, Loan Officer, or similar role Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Benefits: Salary review based on performance.
