We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Cleaner Location: Oniru, Victoria Island - Lagos Employment Type: Contract Monday – Sunday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM with a days off Responsibilities: Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times while on duty. Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors to maintain a presentable appearance. Empty and dispose of waste bins regularly, ensuring proper waste segregation where applicable. Follow all health, safety, and hygiene guidelines while carrying out cleaning duties. Clean and maintain all designated areas, including offices, common areas, restrooms, corridors, and reception, on a daily basis. Clean and restock restrooms with necessary supplies (soap, tissue, hand towels, etc.). Assist with periodic deep-cleaning exercises and other facility upkeep tasks as assigned. Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards observed to the Facility Officer promptly. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors, surfaces, furniture, and fittings as required. Ensure cleaning equipment and materials are properly used, stored, and maintained. Requirements: Punctual, reliable, and hardworking. Good physical stamina, as the role involves standing, walking, and light lifting for extended periods. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Good understanding of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment. Minimum of SSCE. Prior cleaning/janitorial experience: is an advantage, but not mandatory. Must reside within or close to Oniru/Victoria Island for ease of resumption.
