We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Medical Officer Location: Ekiti Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a competent, compassionate, and dedicated Medical Officer to join our healthcare team. Key Responsibilities: Prescribe medications and provide appropriate medical advice. Refer patients to specialists when necessary. Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records. Attend to emergency cases and provide prompt medical intervention. Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans for patients. Request and interpret laboratory and diagnostic investigations where necessary. Participate in call duties and other clinical responsibilities: as required. Take accurate patient histories and perform comprehensive physical examinations. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical protocols, and professional standards. Provide health education: and counselling to patients and their families. Contribute to quality improvement and other hospital activities. Participate in ward rounds and collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals. Conduct patient consultations, medical assessments, diagnosis, and treatment. Requirements: Good clinical judgement and strong patient-management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Full registration and a valid practising licence with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN). Previous clinical experience: is an advantage. Compassionate, professional, and patient-centred approach to care. Ability to work under pressure and respond appropriately to emergencies. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. MBBS or equivalent medical qualification from a recognized institution with 2-3 years experience.
