We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Technician (Electricial and Mechanical) Location: Ikeja, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Description Keep the workshop and maintenance tools organised and in good condition. Recommend improvements that enhance machine efficiency and reliability. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and equipment. Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service records. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults. Respond promptly to machine breakdowns to minimise production downtime. Ensure all repairs and maintenance activities comply with safety standards. Install, test, and commission new machinery and equipment. Work closely with Production and Operations teams to improve equipment performance. Conduct routine inspections to identify potential equipment issues. Requirements: Good communication and teamwork skills. OND or Trade Test Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Minimum of 2 years' experience: in equipment maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience: maintaining furniture manufacturing equipment such as CNC machines, edge banders, panel saws, spray booths, compressors, dust extraction systems, and woodworking machines. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering drawings. Willingness to work flexible hours when required. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
