We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Station Cashier Location: Awo - Omamma, Imo Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a highly committed, trustworthy, and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team at our Awo-Omamma Station/Outlet. The successful candidate will be responsible for the proper management, documentation, reconciliation, and safeguarding of cash and other financial transactions at the station. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and safeguard cash in custody pending banking. Maintain proper documentation of cash collections, banking, and related transactions. Work closely with the Station Manager, Finance, Audit, and other relevant teams. Maintain accurate records of all cash received and transactions processed. Ensure all station collections are properly reconciled and banked promptly in line with company procedures. Ensure strict compliance with company cash-handling and financial control procedures. Receive and account for cash collections from Customer Service Attendants (CSAs). Report cash shortages, discrepancies, or irregularities promptly to the appropriate authority. Verify cash collections against sales records and relevant documentation. Requirements: Strong numerical, reconciliation, and record-keeping skills. OND/HND/B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant office applications. High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. Previous experience: in cashiering, accounting, finance, or a similar role is an advantage.
