Our aspiration is to become the biggest online bookstore in Nigeria and we believe that with your patronage and feedback, our dream is just a click away We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Bookstore Assistant Location : Oniru, Lagos Work Type: On-site, shift-based role Role Description The Bookstore Assistant will help manage inventory by receiving, checking, and tagging new arrivals, conducting regular stock counts, and reporting low-stock items. The person in this role will support daily bookstore operations, including shelving and organizing books, maintaining store displays, and ensuring the sales floor is tidy and welcoming. Responsibilities: include assisting customers in finding and selecting books, processing sales and returns at the point of sale, handling online order pickups, and providing accurate information about titles, authors, and genres. Additional tasks may include responding to customer inquiries, supporting promotional activities or in-store events, and collaborating with the team to deliver a consistent, positive customer experience. Key Requi rements Must reside on Lagos Island or within its immediate environs️ . Ability to process sales, arrange books and maintain inventory records Previous experience: in retail, customer service, or a similar role Must have completed NYSC A genuine passion for books and helping customers Strong communication and organisational skills Work Schedule: Saturday–Sunday: 10:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. Monday Wednesday: 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Salary N150,000 monthly (slightly negotiable).
