We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Finance Manager Location: Victoria Island, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary The Finance Manager will manage the whole set of payment collection procedures for our company. Your primary duties include processing invoices, working with missed payments and managing Accounts Receivable Staff. You will be responsible for keeping our accounts receivable activities accurate and efficient. Responsibilities: Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve customer queries in a timely manner. Maintain accounts receivable operational standards by reinforcing collection guidelines Perform debt aging analysis and report for management on a monthly basis. Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and accuracy. Allocate payment and accurate update of financial records on Zoho Accounting Platform. Forecast expected monthly payments/ receivables and create reports on them. Process invoices, resolve missed payments, and effectively supervise collection staff. Develop and maintain relationships with key customers to ensure timely payments and resolve any issues that arise. Assign tasks to the accounts receivable team in agreement with the accounting department’s goals. Manage and oversee timely collection of payments. Collaborate with sales and customer service departments to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and payment processing. Implement debt collection policies and regulations of the company. Update Excel document on receivables and client debts. Lead price review process. Keep records of invoices, deposits, and all correspondence regarding payment collection. Requirements: Must possess supervisory or managerial experience. Additional certification is a plus. Must be from a top university Minimum of 5 years’ experience: in accounting Good English communication skills, both written and verbal Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration or relevant fields Advanced MS Excel skills Hands-on experience: with accounting software Experience: with general ledger functions Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills Salary N350,000 - N400,000 per month.
