We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update employee payroll records, including salaries, allowances, deductions, overtime, and benefits. Calculate statutory deductions such as PAYE, pension, NSITF, and other applicable deductions. Reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies promptly. Process monthly payroll accurately and within stipulated timelines. Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll information. Support payroll audits and provide required documentation when necessary. Liaise with Finance, HR, and other departments to ensure accurate payroll inputs. Prepare payroll reports and relevant management summaries. Ensure compliance with applicable payroll laws, tax regulations, and company policies. Manage payroll-related queries from employees and provide timely resolutions. Requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll software. Strong knowledge of payroll processing and Nigerian statutory deductions. Good communication and organizational skills. Good analytical, numerical, and reconciliation skills.
