Role Overview Support the design, coordination, and execution of SRHIN's research studies, and lead data-driven decision-making to strengthen evidence-based programming for slum and rural communities. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement research protocols, tools, and methodologies for SRHIN's studies Support grant proposal development and research funding applications Maintain accurate research documentation, records, and data management systems Supervise and provide guidance to Research Assistants and field data collection teams Coordinate data collection activities across field sites, ensuring quality and adherence to ethical standards Conduct quantitative and/or qualitative data analysis and produce research reports, briefs, and publications Contribute to the translation of research findings into policy and programme recommendations Liaise with community stakeholders, partners, and regulatory bodies (e.g. ethics committees) on research activities Required Qualifications & Experience: Experience: with research ethics and regulatory compliance processes Strong quantitative/qualitative research and analytical skills, with proficiency in relevant statistical software (e.g. SPSS, STATA, R) Minimum of 3 years' experience: in research coordination, data collection, or related research work Experience: conducting research in low-resource, slum, or rural community settings is an advantage Excellent report-writing, communication, and supervisory skills Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Epidemiology, or a related field (Master's degree an advantage) How to Apply Interested and qualified candidates should: Click here to apply online View all Jobs in Nigeria Oyo State Research Officer job vacancies in Nigeria
