The Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of personnel, equipment, documents, and materials while maintaining assigned vehicles in good operating condition and complying with company driving and HSE requirements. Key Responsibilities: Support emergency transportation requirements: when assigned. Monitor vehicle fuel, servicing, and maintenance requirements. Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks and trip records. Plan routes and ensure timely transportation. Assist with loading and securing materials where required. Observe all traffic laws and company driving procedures. Ensure proper use of seat belts and other vehicle safety systems. Ensure vehicles are clean, serviced, and roadworthy. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Report vehicle defects, accidents, and incidents immediately. Safely transport employees, visitors, equipment, and materials as authorized. Participate in defensive driving and HSE training. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when transporting personnel. Qualifications Valid Nigerian Driver's Licence appropriate for the vehicle category. Minimum of Secondary School Certificate/SSCE or equivalent. Offshore safety certification such as BOSIET may be required for drivers working offshore or travelling to offshore facilities. Good knowledge of local roads and safe driving practices. Previous experience: in oil & gas, marine, logistics, or offshore support operations is an advantage. Defensive driving training/certification is an advantage. Valid medical fitness certificate where required. Minimum of 3 years professional driving experience.
