We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Account Officer Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities: Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports. Provide necessary financial records and documentation for audit purposes. Assist in tracking customer debts, payments, and outstanding balances. Monitor daily collections from sales representatives and ensure proper documentation. Follow up on discrepancies in sales, payments, invoices, and customer accounts. Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information. Perform other accounting duties assigned by the Accountant or Management. Assist with bank reconciliation and monitoring of company bank transactions. Ensure accounting records are complete, accurate, and properly filed. Assist in reconciling customer accounts and identifying outstanding balances. Record daily sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions. Support the Accountant during month-end and year-end closing activities. Verify sales invoices, payment records, and supporting documents before posting. Maintain proper records of expenses, petty cash, and other financial transactions. Assist with stock and sales reconciliations where required. Reconcile sales records with cash, bank transfers, and other payment methods. Prepare and post invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other accounting documents.
