Our vessels are all state-of-the-art, high specification unit, which benefits: from a proven design and highly developed construction techniques. The National Partner of Noble Corp in Nigeria is Pacific International Drilling West Africa Limited (PIDWAL). We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Subsea Engineer Location: Nigeria Requirements: Superior knowledge of BOPs and control systems and associated procedures; of riser tensioners and CMC functions; and of all wellhead equipment and running tools. Superior troubleshooting, decision making, and problem resolution skills. 3+ years of related experience: and education/training in hydraulics and fluid system maintenance and repair. Ability to plan and delegate work that has been organized. Ability to understand and react with diverse groups and operations. Ability to think globally. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to perform accurate calculations for riser runs and tensioners. Ability to recognize and resolve conflict. Recognized Marine / Engineering qualification from Maritime college or equivalent. Other Requirements: Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE), West African Examinations Council (WAEC), or GCE O'Level. Fluent English communication skills, both oral and written. OND (Ordinary National Diploma) is equivalent to a 2-year Associate Degree in the United States, while HND or B.Sc. is equivalent to a 4-year Degree (at least 120 credits / units). Must be a Nigerian resident currently residing in Nigeria.
