Key Responsibilities: Ensure proper food storage, handling, and stock rotation. Plan menus and ensure meals are prepared to the highest quality standards. Prepare and cook a variety of local and continental dishes. Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering kitchen supplies. Minimize food wastage and control kitchen costs. Supervise kitchen assistants where necessary. Ensure timely preparation and presentation of meals. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen in compliance with food safety regulations. Requirements: Ability to prepare both local and continental cuisines. Must be willing to reside in the provided accommodation. Minimum of SSCE, a certificate or diploma in Culinary Arts, Catering, or Hospitality Management is an added advantage. Strong knowledge of presentation, and kitchen operations. Minimum of 3 years' proven experience: as a Chef in a hotel, restaurant, guest house, or hospitality establishment. Required Qualities: Passion for cooking and creativity.
