The Partnership Manager will lead partnership development, resource mobilization, and stakeholder engagement, with a specific focus on securing institutional and individual donors. The successful candidate will identify, cultivate, negotiate, manage, and strengthen strategic partnerships that support our client's mission, mobilize financial and non-financial resources, expand program reach, and improve organizational sustainability. Key Responsibilities: Partnership Development & Resource Mobilization: Identify and pursue partnership opportunities with corporate organizations, foundations, development agencies, government institutions, and other stakeholders. Secure financial and in-kind partnerships to support programs and organizational growth. Develop and implement partnership strategies aligned with organizational priorities. Prepare compelling partnership proposals, concept notes, sponsorship packages, and presentations. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective partners and donors. Identify new funding and collaboration opportunities across the NGO, CSR, philanthropy, and development ecosystem. Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Provide partners with timely updates, reports, and appropriate recognition. Build and maintain long-term relationships with partners and stakeholders. Represent our client at conferences, networking events, meetings, and other stakeholder engagements. Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic partners and donors. Coordinate partnership meetings, reviews, and stakeholder engagements. Partnership Management & Program Support: Coordinate cross-functional activities to maximize partner value and program effectiveness. Track partnership deliverables, milestones, outcomes, and impact metrics. Work closely with program teams to deliver partnership commitments. Negotiate and coordinate partnership agreements, MoUs, and collaboration frameworks. Ensure contractual and partnership obligations are delivered within agreed timelines. Strategy, Reporting & Communications: Monitor developments in CSR, philanthropy, nonprofit, and international development sectors. Prepare partnership performance reports and dashboards for management and partners. Maintain an accurate and up-to-date partnership and donor database. Identify emerging trends and opportunities for strategic collaboration. Support organizational visibility through partner communications, joint campaigns, and strategic initiatives. Key Success Measures Success in the role will be measured by: Increased funding and resources mobilized. Growth of the corporate, government, donor, and development partner network. Timely delivery of partnership commitments. Quality and accuracy of partnership documentation and reporting. Measurable contribution to program growth and organizational sustainability. Requirements: Education: Bachelor's Degree in International Relations, Development Studies, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years' experience: in partnerships, resource mobilization, fundraising, or business development within the NGO/non-profit, international development, or social enterprise sector in Nigeria. Demonstrated experience: developing, negotiating, and managing strategic partnerships. Proven track record of securing grants, corporate sponsorships, institutional funding, or strategic partnerships. Network & Sector Knowledge: Strong network among international development organizations and funding partners such as USAID, FCDO, UNDP, and similar institutions. Established relationships within corporate Nigeria, particularly with CSR, ESG, sustainability, or corporate affairs stakeholders. Strong understanding of crowdfunding, mobile money integration, and co-investment models. Experience: working with government or public-sector institutions is an advantage. Technical & Professional Skills: Strong stakeholder and relationship management capabilities. Strong grant and proposal writing skills. Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
