The ideal candidate should be comfortable working both on-site and in the office, with strong knowledge of structural design, construction methods, engineering drawings, materials, and project execution. We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Civil/Structural Engineer to join our team at HTSF Global Nigeria LTD. Key Responsibilities: Conduct structural assessments and recommend repairs, reinforcement, or modifications where required. Ensure projects are delivered safely, within approved specifications, timelines, and budgets. Identify potential construction risks and recommend practical engineering solutions. Monitor foundations, reinforcement, formwork, concrete works, steel structures, and other structural elements. Prepare and review structural drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical reports. Carry out measurements, material assessments, and technical evaluations as required. Conduct regular site inspections and identify structural or construction issues requiring corrective action. Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship on-site. Prepare progress reports, site inspection reports, and other project documentation. Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, engineering standards, health and safety requirements, and project specifications. Design, analyze, and review structural components for building and civil engineering projects. Interpret architectural, structural, and civil engineering drawings. Supervise construction activities to ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and engineering standards. Assist with project planning, scheduling, cost control, and resource allocation. Requirements: Practical experience: with construction/site supervision is highly desirable. Knowledge of structural design software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, or similar is an advantage. Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Excellent communication,coordination, problem-solving and analytical skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required. Good understanding of concrete, reinforcement, foundations, steel structures, and other structural works. Strong knowledge of structural analysis, construction methods, and building materials. Ability to read, interpret, and work with engineering and architectural drawings. Willingness to work on construction sites and travel to project locations when required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety. 3 – 5 years of relevant experience: in civil/structural engineering, construction, or site supervision. Professional Certification: Membership of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) or other relevant professional bodies is also desirable but not compulsory.
