Our client is seeking an experienced Accountant to oversee the company's accounting and financial operations across our retail, wholesale, e-commerce, and physical store channels. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment, has strong attention to detail, and can provide accurate financial reporting while helping the business make informed decisions. Responsibilities: Manage the company's daily accounting operations. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports. Perform bank, POS and payment gateway reconciliations. Monitor cash flow and working capital. Maintain accurate financial records. Manage accounts payable and receivable. Oversee inventory accounting and stock valuation. Work closely with Operations and Warehouse teams to ensure inventory accuracy. Prepare budgets and financial forecasts. Ensure compliance with tax, VAT and statutory regulations. Support management with financial analysis and business insights. Coordinate external audits when required. Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience: in a Accountant, Accountant or Finance role within a retail or e-commerce business. Retail accounting experience: is required. Strong understanding of inventory accounting and stock reconciliation. Experience: preparing management reports and financial statements. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Sage, Odoo or similar. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High level of integrity and attention to detail. Experience: within the beauty, cosmetics, skincare, pharmacy, fashion or FMCG industries is an advantage.
