Read more about this company Medical Officer Job Type Full Time Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience 3 - 5 years Location Lagos Job Field Medical / Healthcare Responsibilities Examine, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute and chronic medical conditions. Prescribe medications, therapies, and other treatment plans in accordance with established clinical guidelines. Request, interpret, and evaluate laboratory tests and diagnostic investigations. Admit, review, and manage in-patients where applicable. Attend to medical emergencies and provide life-saving interventions when required. Perform minor medical procedures within the scope of practice. Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential patient records. Counsel patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment options, and healthy lifestyle practices. Participate in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and emergency services. Collaborate with nurses, specialists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care. Adhere to hospital policies, infection prevention protocols, and ethical standards. Requirements Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 3 - 5 years experience.
