The Economics Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality Economics lessons in line with the Nigerian secondary school curriculum, while fostering critical thinking, financial literacy, and excellent academic performance among students. Key Responsibilities: Prepare students for internal and external examinations (WAEC, NECO, etc.). Assess, record, and evaluate students' academic performance regularly. Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and instructional materials. Teach Economics to Junior and Senior Secondary School students. Deliver engaging and interactive classroom lessons. Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment. Communicate effectively with school management and parents regarding students' progress when required. Participate in staff meetings, school activities, and professional development programmes. Requirements: Must be passionate about teaching and student development. A minimum of 2 years teaching experience: in a secondary school. Ability to use modern teaching methods and educational technology. TRCN certification is an added advantage. Strong knowledge of the Nigerian secondary school curriculum. Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Education: (Economics), or a related field. Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
