This role is ideal for someone who takes process and documentation seriously, is comfortable in the field, and wants to build a career in telecommunications infrastructure quality management We are looking for a meticulous, field-ready Quality Officer to support quality assurance, health and safety compliance, and environmental standards across our project sites and operations. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate records of inspections, quality audits, non-conformances, corrective actions, and project acceptance documentation. Identify, document, and track snag items until full closure and formal project acceptance. Investigate and report incidents, near misses, and non-conformances, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions. Conduct quality inspections on telecommunications infrastructure projects, including civil works, fibre deployment, equipment installation, power systems, and site readiness. Enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements: across project sites, including conducting toolbox talks, HSE inductions, and site safety inspections. Monitor contractor compliance with approved construction methods, quality standards, and project specifications. Support internal quality reviews, client audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. Process and submit quality documentation, inspection reports, and acceptance records on client platforms. Perform pre-acceptance and final acceptance inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards. Produce periodic QHSE performance reports for Project Managers and senior leadership. Monitor environmental compliance throughout construction and installation activities. Provide technical support to Project Managers, Site Engineers, and field teams during installation, commissioning, and project close-out activities. Requirements: ISO 9001, NEBOSH, ISPON, or an equivalent HSE certification is an added advantage but is not mandatory. Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with site management or project management tools is an added advantage. Must reside in Abuja or its environs. 1–3 years' relevant experience: in site engineering, quality control, HSE, project coordination, or telecommunications infrastructure. Candidates must have either: A B.Sc. or HND in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Telecommunications Engineering; or Demonstrable experience: working on telecommunications infrastructure projects. Physically fit and willing to travel regularly to project sites. Good analytical, communication, and report-writing skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to documentation accuracy. The successful candidate should be able to adapt quickly with minimal technical onboarding. Working knowledge of telecommunications site construction, fibre deployment, tower infrastructure, power systems, or network rollout projects is an added advantage. N200,000 – N250,000 monthly.
