Monitor project budgets and costs, track variances, and provide financial insights to project managers. Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and accurate records. Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and statutory requirements. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff, ensuring adherence to best practices. Develop and maintain cost control systems, ensuring alignment with ISO documentation standards. Ensure compliance with company financial policies, SOPs, and ISO standards for document control and record retention. Coordinate internal and external audits, prepare schedules, and ensure readiness for ISO and statutory audits. Generate financial reports and dashboards for management review, including cash flow, profitability, and cost-to-completion analysis. Manage general ledger accounts, reconcile balances, and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing. Qualifications and Experience: Eduation: Second degree (Master’s or MBA) is mandatory. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACA/ICAN certification required. Experience: 10-11 years experience: in accounting, preferably in construction or project-based environments. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or ERP systems) and MS Excel.
