Min Qualification: Degree Experience: Level: Mid level Experience: Length: 3 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Nigeria Job descriptions & requirements: Responsibilities: Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues across the organization. Build and maintain positive relationships between employees and management. Advise managers on employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and best HR practices. Promote a healthy organizational culture and positive employee experience. Grievance & Conflict Resolution: Receive, investigate, and resolve employee grievances promptly and fairly. Facilitate mediation between employees and management where necessary. Recommend appropriate resolutions while ensuring fairness and compliance. Maintain confidentiality throughout all investigations. Disciplinary Management: Manage the end-to-end disciplinary process. Draft and review queries, warning letters, suspension letters, and other disciplinary documents. Conduct disciplinary hearings and prepare reports with recommendations. Ensure disciplinary actions comply with company policy and Nigerian Labour Law. Workplace Investigations: Lead investigations into misconduct, harassment, fraud, policy violations, absenteeism, and unethical behaviour. Gather evidence, interview witnesses, and prepare investigation reports. Recommend corrective actions based on findings. Policy Development & Compliance: Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with Nigerian Labour Laws and regulatory requirements. Educate employees and managers on HR policies and disciplinary procedures. Monitor policy adherence across all departments. Employee Engagement: Design and implement employee engagement initiatives. Conduct engagement surveys and analyse results. Recommend initiatives to improve morale, productivity, and retention. Coordinate recognition and appreciation programmes. Performance & Behaviour Management: Support managers in addressing poor performance and behavioural issues. Recommend Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) where necessary. Coach managers on effective performance conversations. Exit Management: Conduct exit interviews. Analyse employee turnover trends. Recommend strategies to improve employee retention. HR Reporting & Analytics: Prepare monthly employee relations reports. Analyse disciplinary trends, grievances, absenteeism, and employee engagement metrics. Present recommendations to management. Training & Advisory: Train managers on labour laws, disciplinary procedures, conflict resolution, and employee engagement. Coach supervisors on handling employee issues professionally.
