We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Research Supervisor Job ID: STS2026-10 Location: Ibadan, Oyo Duration: 6 months’ renewable Duties Support engagement with farmers, youth groups, and local stakeholders involved in feed innovation activities. Support organization of field visits, trainings, and demonstration events. Maintain simple records of participants, beneficiaries, and training attendance. Record observations on technology adoption, farmer practices, and productivity changes. Assist in the implementation and monitoring of alternative feed technologies, including:· HQCP production, handling, and feeding trials, BSFL production units (where applicable), Crop residue processing and utilization Support establishment and maintenance of demonstration plots (forage) and feed units. Collect basic data on feed use, animal performance, and cost implications. Take field notes, pictures, and short activity summaries for reporting purposes. Assist in handling materials, tools, and inputs required for feed innovation activities. Support demonstration of improved feed formulation and feeding practices at TRUs and pilot farms. Ensure availability and proper use of data collection tools and field materials. Support routine field data collection on feed, forage, and dairy production. Assist in data entry, cleaning, and validation using Excel or mobile tools. Requirements: Qualification: BSc / HND in Agriculture, Animal Science or related field with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience: performing similar role in a well-structured environment. Competencies The ideal candidate must have: Knowledge of livestock and diary value chains Willingness to travel extensively within project locations Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams. Strong organizational and planning skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
