We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Account Officer Location: Owerri, Imo Responsibilities: Analyze and review budgets and expenditures. Prepare financial statements. Analyze revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels, and ensure expenditure control. Handling of budgets and budgeting processes. Responsible for overall Finance and Accounting activities of the company and preparation of financial reports. Monitor stock movement. Management of Accounts Payable. And any other duties as may be assigned. Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits. Cash flow Analysis and Management. Handle all regulatory & statutory compliance issues. Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness and ensure timely submission of reports. Payroll Management. Monitor banking transactions; verify monthly bank reconciliation statements and prepare report on status. Firm understanding of various tax issues. Requirements: Applicant must reside in Owerri. Applicants must have a good University Degree / HND qualification. High level of proficiency in the use of MS Office Suites, Quick Books or SAGE Accounting packages. A minimum of 3 years experience: in a Retail Industry.
