Day-to-day responsibilities: include preparing and reviewing mechanical designs and drawings, performing calculations and sizing for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The role involves close coordination with electrical, civil, and architectural teams, participating in site inspections, and addressing technical issues during installation, testing, and commissioning. The Mechanical Engineer will contribute to project planning, monitor progress against schedules and budgets, and support documentation for handover and maintenance. The role also includes evaluating new technologies and methods to improve system performance, energy efficiency, and overall project quality. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline. Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with applied knowledge in building services and MEP environments. Proficiency in Machine Design and mechanical systems analysis for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection applications. Hands-on experience: with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) for preparing and reviewing detailed mechanical drawings. Demonstrated Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and progress tracking. Experience: in Research and Development (R&D), including evaluating new materials, technologies, and engineering solutions to enhance system performance. Familiarity with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and international standards for MEP systems.
