These include the sale and lease of residential and commercial properties, and long-term property management within Nigeria and Internationally. Unfortunately, we had to step down to a more analogue approach if we were to work with other stakeholders in the real estate space in Nigeria. We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Social Media Manager Location: Abuja (FCT) Employment Type: Full-time Reports To: Corporate Communications & Marketing Manager Job Summary The Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing and growing the social media presence of Vestates Group and its subsidiaries. The Social Media Manager will work closely with the Content Creators and Corporate Communications & Marketing Manager to ensure that approved content and campaigns are effectively distributed, promoted and measured. This role covers content scheduling and publishing, community management, audience growth, engagement, paid advertising, campaign execution, social listening, analytics and reporting. Reporting & Accountability The Social Media Manager reports directly to the Corporate Communications & Marketing Manager and is accountable for: Escalating significant customer complaints, sensitive issues and reputational concerns. Community management and audience engagement. Execution of approved social media and content calendars. Social media campaign execution and optimization. Monthly analytics and performance reporting. Running and managing paid social media advertising. Identifying high-performing and underperforming content. Weekly social media updates. Audience growth and social media performance. Scheduling and publishing of approved content. Key Responsibilities: Plan, set up, run, monitor and optimize paid social media advertising campaigns. Ensure captions, hashtags, tags, links and formats are correctly implemented. Monitor ad performance and make recommendations to improve results. Grow relevant audiences and improve engagement. Track reach, impressions, engagement, followers, video views, clicks, CTR, DMs, enquiries and other relevant metrics. Identify best-performing and underperforming content and campaigns. Provide weekly updates and contribute to the Monthly Marketing & Communications Report. Schedule and publish approved content across relevant platforms. Manage advertising budgets and ensure campaigns are aligned with approved objectives. Support the execution of approved marketing and social media campaigns. Monitor comments, DMs, mentions and other audience interactions. Monitor social media trends, competitors and relevant online conversations. Work closely with Content Creators to ensure content is ready and optimized for publishing and advertising. Manage the social media accounts of all assigned subsidiaries. Respond to or appropriately escalate customer enquiries and complaints. Recommend improvements based on analytics, audience behaviour and campaign performance. Key Performance Indicators Quality and responsiveness of community management. Continuous improvement in social media and advertising performance. Accuracy and timeliness of reporting. Audience growth. Growth in meaningful enquiries, DMs and leads. Reach, impressions and engagement. Cost and efficiency of paid campaigns. Social media and advertising campaign performance. Consistent execution of approved content calendars. Must Have Ability to interpret social media and advertising analytics. Experience: managing multiple social media accounts/brands. Proven experience: as a Social Media Manager. Understanding of audience targeting, campaign objectives, budgets and ad performance. Strong knowledge of major social media platforms (IG, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn). Strong community management skills. Hands-on experience: running paid social media advertising campaigns . Good organizational and time-management skills. Strong written communication skills. Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree Demonstrable results from previous social media and advertising campaigns. Ability to set up, manage, monitor, and optimize social media ads. Nice to Have: Experience: working across multiple brands or industries. Digital marketing experience. Experience: generating leads, enquiries or sales through digital campaigns.
